I'm at about 150 dwellers right now and even deadclaws just die at my second room without taking even a third of the HP of my dwellers working at my Nuka Cola plants. But in normals? What could possibly compel you to try to limit incidents in your vault? Originally posted by Eagle_of_Fire:I can barely understand that you would want to control your population in survival.

PS: yell if yotu need any links or screenshots. (even i am sometimes trolling qq'rs/ but you wernt doing that, thus the help without attitude from me. Read rabbidsquirrels reddit thingy (there are others. Also, dead, empty space of dirt / rocks between section will limit the spread of fires, radrouaches and molrats. So you can mole rat proof your entire vault. :)Īnd molerats can NOT spawn in a room that does NOT touch empty dirt/rock. Not so easy if that radscorp spawns in a fully upgraded room, but thats when i make them run away. Even if the dwellers are low lvl, low hp, with so so weapons they still win easy. And never, ever, build 3 wide rooms and upgrade them and then leave them empty.įor every empty 'storage' room do 2 wide, no upgrades, and any radscorps' that spawn in those empty rooms die fast once they leave and go to a populated room.

Remember., the best 'tip' for dealing with radscorps is never build 3 wide rooms and leave them empty. Then evict a bunch of dwellers so your just below the critter threshold you want to avoid for a while. The strat is to rush dwellers (once a large reserve of caps are saved up) build those training / other rooms you need. but the dweller threshold for critters is even lower in survival than it is in normal. Everyone does it in Survival mode & if they say they don't they are lying.

I do that in both normal and survival mode. Originally posted by PrOxAnto:I'm currently sitting at 52 dwellers, could I for example kill of 3 dwellers so I'm sitting at 49 dwellers making it so that Ghouls / Radscorpions can't spawn anymore?
